Hello 3/4 Families,
This week the 3/4 artists began working with clay! Not only did they know a lot about working with clay, they were extremely focused and therefor created some incredibly delicate and lovely clay bowls using slabs and cutting out various shapes to layer and organize in a bowl shape. Every student took their time to think about their design, used the tools and materials with care, and practiced slipping and scoring to attach pieces of clay together. Their pieces will be traveling to Pine Street to be fired and hopefully return next week to be glazed. Stay tuned!
